What does St. Philip's Church and Centre Do?
It caters for the needs of the community by providing
- Worship and outreach
- Social and Educational facilities for the local community
St. Philip's has responded over the last century to the needs of the local area. It is still a thriving place both for worship and community use, and the area it serves is a lively and diverse one.
The church is in weekly use for prayer and worship. In addition the Centre has a large hall, kitchen, coffee lounge, quiet room and an activities room.
It is used by over 600 people each week for a variety of worship, social and educational purposes.
Among these are the Ladies afternoon club, University of the Third Age, Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, Topcats, Marlin School of Dance and Line Dancing ….to name but a few.
Every Tuesday morning at 10.00 am. there is a Coffee and Chat club.
Every third Thursday at 2:00pm. Maidstone Ladies Afternoon Club.
The Collis Hall is available for hire for parties and other events see Rooms for Hire
